The simple device is a very useful tool to save time in labs. The samples (microplates) can be brought down to ambient temperature for next operation in quick time. The unit is equipped with a fan that blows air to the bottom of the microplate evenly & can be used to either frozen/cold samples OR for heated samples which need to be brought for ambient temperature. The fan speed adjustment allows you to choose the rate of temperature change in sensitive samples.
